Nightclubs generally weren't Noir's preferred hangouts, but just to prove that she wasn't a complete stick-in-the-mud and/or homebody (not that Darkseid would ever excuse her as being as such), she decided to go out and do something she hadn't done in quite some time: Drink alcohol and dance. She had surprised herself at just how much fun she was actually having and just how long she was having said fun. It was nearing three o'clock in the AM already, and she actually didn't feel tired in the least bit; in fact, she felt even more wide awake now than she had before they'd arrived earlier in the evening (or would that be considered the night before?). This, of course, probably had a lot to do with the fact that she'd been drinking sugary.... things. Things of which would probably be giving her one hell of a hangover whenever she woke up in the afternoon. Thankfully she'd had enough sense not to imbibe too many (or drink too fast). One drink was generally enough to last the umbrakine well through the night, but tonight? She'd had two, or three. Maybe. Enough to make her feel pleasantly tipsy, at any rate. As the last bars of the song had finished ("Blur", by Britney Spears) the half-Chinese woman leaned against her 'date' (for lack of a better term) as he'd escorted her back up the stairs and back to their booth, where their check would undoubtedly be waiting for them. It was about that time, after all. They had already begun shutting off (or dimming) most of the more artistic-looking lights. Part of her was disappointed that their date night was drawing to a close, but she supposed it didn't have to end there.... Wren leaned down a bit to slid back behind their table and onto the booth, flashing a little thigh as the hem of her tight black dress hiked up slightly. They had a few more minutes before they'd be asked to leave, judging by the fact that most of the VIP section was still full. "Having fun?" Noir asked, just as her hazel eyes (which looked a bit darker due to the dimmer lighting) met with his. This had actually been their first outing to a nightclub as a couple. They'd mostly been sticking to eating take out or going to quiet restaurants the past month or so, but they both knew they had needed to be a little more public about their relationship. Strata seemed as good a place as any to start off with. |
