12th Century BC, the date given to the catastrophic events set down and chronicled by the poet Homer; the duplicity of Eris, the choice of Paris, and the rivalry of the three great goddess Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena. From that rivalry arose a great war that would leave a once great and powerful city in smoking ruin: the city of Troy and the Trojan War.

Centuries later, belief in the old gods have faded. There are no longer massive temples devoted the pantheon and the ancient beliefs have been relegated to myth and lore. But just because this world is done with the gods, that does not mean that the gods are done with it.

Time is circular and all things repeat.

2009 AD, the year when discord brewed once again among the three great goddesses. Now, they are determined to decide which among them is the most powerful of all. This time, it shall not be a mortal choice, but a battle itself which will decide the victory and each goddess has chosen her champions:
Hera has summoned demons, vampires, and creatures of the night to her banner.
Aphrodite has claimed sirens, fae, and beings of great beauty.
And Athena, as ever, has chosen mortals of great prowess to fight in her name.

In the 21st century, this time the war will be one of science and supernatural.

When a goddess calls, will you answer?
