Hello again! I had an offer and a question to put out to all of you lovely masses. Firstly, I am quite proficient at restoring old, dead things, if I do so say so myself. Give something new life, making it feel loved and cherished again. I've renovated quite a few houses and things back in our world, before I was run out of them! I don't mean to boast but I do have an eye for interior decorating, so should you have need, my services are for hire. I'm offering discounts to new clients who are willing to put a little trust in my hands so I could build a little portfolio.

Which brings me to a similar topic! I'd found a lovely fixer-upper in the forest, and Dorian was kind enough to inquire within the government for me and they said no one native held claim to it, but they couldn't say for the Outlanders as we're known for strange and unusual things showing up unexpectedly.




If you are the owner of this lovely establishment and have no need of it, perhaps we could make a deal?

I know even writing here is a longshot but thought it entirely possible there might be another "Ancient Vallo" in place and we're at the stage of trying everything back home.

It appears any of us who have the journals from Ancient Vallo should be able to communicate with our missing members, I was checking mine just today as a last-ditch effort and have managed to talk to a few of them now.

Can anything be done with this to help locate them?

now I'm a little afraid he's going to send a hitman after me but what's done is done and it feels good? Telling people to fuck off feels really good and it took me way too long to figure that out.

We are back! Well, sort of. I still do not have responsibilities during the holidays but Lan Zhan does and we did not want to make everyone have to look after the bunnies and Apple for so long.

Thank you all who came and shared our customs with us! I think with all the joy that was had and the feasting that was done, we are going to have good luck for years to come, which would be a very nice change from our regular lives. We have come a long way from when we first met ooooooh some twenty years ago, you know. Nothing has ever been normal for us, but I am very lucky to have him in my life, and we have been very blessed with what Vallo has given us.

But speaking of, would anyone like some cake? We have a lot of cake leftover and I learned that I can only eat so much of it before I get sick.

All the Mari Lwyd excitement in the back of my brain has had me thinking about this for a while, so I thought I'd throw it out there. I've had the ability to ah- command things spirits, for years now, but it's not an ability that's able to be.. well, taught or practiced much at home. I know that you have your piece of Hell? here? The forest? And I remember the spirits from before when Vallo has gone a little crazy.

So I was curious if there would ever be an opportunity for someone to practice or help with them? I've taken two necromancy classes now and have a handle on it but not much hands-on experience and I thought knowing this place, it might come in handy.

If I'm overstepping boundaries, I won't hold it against you for saying no. I obviously don't know the ins and outs of Hell, so I wouldn't want to be a liability.

Babe, does this look like the house we were looking at buying in Rexxentrum? Unless it's Eadwulf's house and now he is meant to be our neighbor. That might be fun but I don't think he would enjoy it.

Winter can be harsh on a lot of wildlife, as we start to get snow and whatever weirdness Vallo throws at us. There are things everyone can do to help, though, just adding it into your daily routine if you ever travel through the forest or live here or nearby.

1. Don't pull up all your weeds or get rid of all your fallen leaves and stumps. Animals love to hide and burrow and sometimes they just need a quiet pitstop. That stuff can wait until spring! If you don't any hidey areas around, setting up a small cozy shelter outside is as easy as something like this!

2. Leave out water, and only a little food - mostly for birds. A birdfeeder will go a long way for the ones that can't get to insects or worms, but most animals know where to find their food unless they're really far away or injured. Fresh water will always be welcome!

3. And check it for freezing over and melt it or break the ice if it is. Same goes for small ponds or birdbaths, if they start to freeze over, get a hole in the ice and let it breathe.

4. Don't disturb them unless something really looks wrong, and even then I recommend calling me or a local vet or forest guide! Steve On from Asetenarra is a good option, he and I work together a lot and he's a great guy.

ALSO if you're around the Sanctuary, we have two new friends to meet. They're not really people trained so I'm going to keep them away from crowded areas for a while, but they're good girls from my home and friendly one-on-one. Their names are Speki and Svanna and it should be pretty obvious they're sisters. (Speki is the bratty one.)
