Random thoughts on a Tuesday night. Leave a comment here if you'd have any interest in bringing Roller Derby to Vallo. Either playing or spectating. The idea got stuck in my head earlier, and want to see what the public opinion is before I spend any more time thinking about it.

This loud little bloke strolled right into Puddifoot's with me yesterday morning, then followed me straight home after I'd gone through the books. He's officially been here twenty-four hours, has made himself comfortable at the window, and refuses to be shooed away. I suppose that means I have no choice but to accept I have a cat now.



My ears will never be the same. I haven't figured a name yet, but whatever it is should be a comment on his volume, I think.

Even with setbacks, I have broom bases ready to evolve. Who's ready to make some magic - literally?

We've been home for a couple of weeks now and it feels like I'm finally settling back into my normal routines which I know my very particular child is happy about. There was a lot to process and unpack about our brief trip to that future, but the one takeaway that's stuck with me is that there's too little time to spend it stuck in the future--or the past. Which feels a bit too introspective for this early on a Friday morning, honestly, but here we are. Serving up a bit of gratitude for the present alongside fresh chocolate croissants this morning.

So here's my Friday morning question to the rest of my fellow Outlanders: Besides the obvious choice of indoor plumbing, what are you glad for here that you don't have where you came from?

As much as I love the slow pitch game and an extra excuse to drink on a weeknight, I've got some excess energy to burn today. The skin-crawling restlessness has been hitting me hard, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one who could stand to blow off some steam.

How many supers or enhanceds out there are up for a Clash of the Titans-style baseball game tonight? Full strength, liberal use of powers (not against each other, but in the pursuit of the ball), no holding back.

Kamala, Rogers Sr. and Jr., Kratos, Stark, consider yourselves drafted.

EDIT: Come by to the Avengers Compound grounds [coordinates] any time tonight between 6-7pm. Spectators welcome, food and drinks provided. Teams will be picked then and there, as soon we get a final player total.

Alright, SO, my birthday's in two weeks. You all probably know I require more attention on my birthday than some - no gifts, though, I'm good there. In the absence of Disney (unless Vallo decides to be nice again 👀), I want to plan something fun. I'm not old enough for the wine-and-cheese night that Google suggested.

Karaoke? Escape room? But that wouldn't be fun for spy and spy-adjacent people. Rage room? Everyone here probably likes breaking shit sometimes. OR we could stick with the theme park idea and go to Blizzard World or Critical Role Land since those are more kid-friendly! (Pepper, please can the kids come?)

Not telling everybody a plan ahead of time counts as not making a big deal for a birthday. That's just facts.

But Tor's not getting out of a birthday dinner, so if you're free in a couple hours, around seven, or even after that, come to the Mansion. We're doing take out as a buffet and watching movies in the ballroom.

And yeah, we'll actually shut up during them.

So I've been here for three years now (AMA? Is that the right term??) and it's been ups and downs and a lot of bad tangled with some very good. I'd never even been on a date when I got here! I had a lot to learn (and ... learn, and learn some more. maybe a little more on top of that) but I like to think I've done okay!

Part of that was learning how to be true to myself and still find a happy balance with my life. Today marks the one year of Lance and I getting our shit together, and it may have still taken a little while to find that happy balance, I'm glad I found it with him.

I'm a lucky LUCKY person for a lot of reasons but mostly that he trusts and loves me enough to tattoo him before we go get our asses kicked at Fight Club.

Well, judging from the network scrolling I've done, I'm not sure a week is enough time to consider myself "acclimated" to Vallo. But it probably is enough time before I introduce myself.

Hey, Outlanders - Bobbi Morse. Just signed myself up for Defense Team A with the DOA this morning. (Captain Rogers, I hear that means we're working together again. Looking forward to it.) Gotten myself about a dozen bagels from Glenn since I've been here, a couple of new-arrival free drinks from the various bars, and heard some rave reviews about an Italian restaurant in "the Void"? Haven't tracked that down yet, but I will.

Any other suggestions for Vallo musts I should add to the to-do list?

War has been declared on the training grounds. It's a very snowy battle. I invite others to join my team or be buried in snow with James and Francis.

Perhaps I should go into the breakfast business. I could serve a breakfast of champignons at Galdin Quay.

It seems these ah- mushrooms with teeth made their way out to our little dock of sunshine at Galdin Quay. They've been dispatched for now but there are a few people with minor injuries and a great deal of cleanup as they caused a considerable amount of chaos. If you're able to come help with a little triage and cleaning, I will feed you once I've retrieved my backup chef's knives from home.


I should clarify before I hear any complaints that I will not feed you mushrooms.

I now own a team set of flying brooms that were made so that anyone could use them. Well, at least anyone with decent balance or practice. The point is, you don't need magic or superpowers. One set isn't enough for organized play, but three on three pick-up games are possible, and they're just fun to fly for flying's sale. Anyone want to learn?

While part of Vallo is living the Black Friday Earth stereotype, Tony and I didn't have to do a single thing for Vallo to get us the best Black Friday deals of our lives.

Morgan Stark and Francis Barton (now the second Francis) are both here. According to the kids, Morgan is five and Francis is three, so Morgan has experienced losing her dad about a year ago, but Francis hasn't lived through any part of Ultron.

We're going to take things slow traffic-wise in the Mansion today and going into the weekend so they can see people they know and adjust to any changes due to time points and timelines, but we're so excited to be able to share them with all of you soon. We'll be making some changes to both our schedules from this point forward, but all SIV projects will continue on schedule, including the Tower.

With a visual of the area thanks to Caitlyn, I'm asking defense teams and anyone working to deal with these creatures to meet at the training grounds to go over the plan of attack before we move in. It will also give us a chance to link everyone to comms, keep track of who's going in, and coordinate evacuation and field medics as required. Lets shut this down.

I’m about to drop coordinates to a very specific part of these tunnels — do not go alone, not without a plan. I stumbled upon it and I consider myself fortunate to have not drawn attention to myself considering all that is there. It’s some kind of laboratory that’s in shambles and infested with these creatures, so perhaps this is where they’re all coming from?

There is also a big one. Two big ones but the one I’m specifically referring to is it’s own brand of monstrosity.

So, it's been a weird day. But I'm officially no longer a Hunter.

I went to Artemis' Cabin last night and asked her to renounce my oath because that's not really who I am anymore. I don't know if it was actually Artemis, or Vallo magic or what, but whatever it was seems to have worked. If I had any doubts about it, waking up this morning looking 24 instead of 16 definitely got rid of those.

I'm fine. I've still got a lot of stuff I need to figure out about where I want to go from here, but I don't regret what I did. Just wanted to let everyone know so you don't freak out next time you see me.
