A heads up for those with some younger kiddos that the library is doing a few fairy tale based comedy plays over the weekend. They're at 10:00, 1:00 and 3:00 both Saturday and Sunday in their little auditorium. Snacks will be provided.

I'll be going to Saturday at 3:00 with Lucas if anyone wanted to join us.

On a more business note! The government is offering subsidies and rebates for anyone hit by the recent events and need to do repairs to business and homes. Hit me up if you would be interested and I can get someone in touch with you. If you've already done repairs they are reimbursing as well so get me your receipts and I'll get the process started for you.

I am honored to report that in 2033, we have ended the threat of Interitus for all Vallo timelines. Many are injured, but we are now able to focus on healing rather than destruction.

DOA DEFENSE TEAMS

As of tomorrow at noon, Shiro will be taking full command of the defense department for at least the duration of this new threat. My name is on the list for time travel. If anyone steals my magic coffee cup or scotch while I'm gone, I'll find you. Take care of each other.

Several other defense team members are included. Gladio, Kratos, Orym, Kellach, Iris, Sam, Tally, and Vex as well, should they chose to go. So you can plan accordingly.

So there's a slow pitch softball beer league here in Vallo. Basically you play on Thursday nights for fun, drink a round or two, nothing serious.

I was waiting in line for coffee and then I just felt the need to share how much I love Prue Halliwell. I love her so much it's almost terrifying with my ability to screw up my relationships but she's amazing. Absolutely amazing.


I also love this coffee. The pixie is so grumpy but so great at what she does and it's entertaining exchanging remarks with her in the morning. I love this coffee a lot. Like goddamn it is good this morning.

I can't say I loved waking up to find over a week of my life missing, especially as it meant missing time with people from the future.

Emily Dickinson has this poem with the line, "There is no Frigate like a Book." Been one of my favorite quotes of anything since I read it because books got me through a lot. Mostly. Drifted away from reading lately, felt the "sanctuary" of them being worn off by the reality around me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is thanks. To the wild magic that let me stay some time and y'all that make up this place. Most likely won't remember anything when I leave or return home, whatever you call it, but I hope something like the remnants of a dream remains so I keep moving towards the future which doesn't look so bleak after all. So thanks.

Also wish my English teacher could see this so she'd be proven wrong about me paying attention in class. That's a damn good poem, she's just boring teaching it.
