Calling all magical folks or those knowledgeable about:

Our team's patrol today spotted something that looks like a teleportation circle in the forest at [location]. Can't say how long it's been there but there are runes near the thing as well as objects that seem to be badly burned. Most of them were not distinguishable from ashes at all but the ones that were are: an apron, a grumpy frog t-shirt, and a mug with cacti on it that says "You Can't Touch This".

I can't get much information out of this but if anyone else wants to step in and take a look, that would help.

Can anyone give me an explanation of what the fuck is going on that doesn't involve being kidnapped into a magical fairy land?

I understand that there is a group that meets here for queer women that use various styles of weaponry. I love this for all of you and fully support the continued existence of such a place to hang out and have camaraderie.

However, I am useless with a weapon. I stabbed at an intellect devourer once and I think that I might have hurt myself more in the effort and only succeeded in tickling it, so I've since given up and rely entirely on my magic. Best for everyone, though apologies if you turn into cats again or, I don't know, summon a cambion. (Do cambions exist in this world? Perhaps we'll get lucky.)

Anyway, all of that to say that I'd like to suggest or create a sister group, if there isn't one already, for queer women that wield magic. I have no doubt that there will be crossover as I have to assume that there are others more skilled than myself that juggle both, but I am still fairly new here and I thought this may be a nice way to meet others and also just have some conversation, possible demonstration, and drinks, if you partake.

If there is interest, please let me know here and I'll organize a time and place and we can discuss the food and drink aspect to go with.

I'm sure this is a twisted Galra experiment but I guess this is better than a prison cell. Anybody lose a teleporting toddler? He's very confused but we're keeping him out of trouble. Mostly. It's baby dino season on the island, apparently. My last two trips out here have had a few baby encounters, which means they're thriving!

Greetings all, I am sharing on behalf of myself and Wanda (though I would never venture to speak for her, obviously) as your magical representatives for the DOA. The Directrix of Geliara Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry has requested assistance in first, containing, and secondly, closing, a portal that opened on the grounds of the school. Apparently a conjuration class had a spell go...incorrectly and now there is a portal that they are unable to do anything with.

The second piece to that is that somethings may have escaped. The details on what, exactly, they are, are a bit sketchy, so this may take some time and energy. You can come to the DOA office and read for yourself what the Directrix sent over and if you are so inclined, we can then proceed to the school for closer examination of the portal.

Certainly no one is required to participate but if you do we will most likely have their eternal gratitude and a favor to be called upon later, ho hum, it is very good for relations, and I will purchase the Dashing Doors for lunch. And probably have wine if this goes very late.

Ásynja Meadery will go on. Torunn worked too hard on it for us to shutter its doors. The Palace is gone, however. We did transplant a lot of the fruit bearing trees to the winery with help from Freya months ago, so some of the garden lives on.

We do need more help though. Bartenders, one more bar manager, an event planner, and brewers. Someone that likes numbers would be great as well. I'm told keeping profits in gold bars is a bad idea and I have something called taxes?

Okay. So funny story. I found an injured? basilisk in the forest, and I was helping it and making it a friend, when it's mate came up behind me and hey it's a good thing I have really good reflexes cause I dodged at the last minute and managed to mitigate some of it! It wasn't even that bad, just on my side.


But then I started turning uh to stone? So for the last hour I've been in the forest kind of stuck here because I figured Fen would come looking for me and I didn't want to admit this to Lance but then another wolf came up? Not one of mine! He's friendly and helped me get my phone out of the not-stoned pocket with my free hand and I think he's looking for his friend? He says his name is Torgal.

I have been spending this first week of the month harvesting the vegetables ahead of the coming fall. While I have plans to preserve much of it, there is still quite a bit left should anyone be wanting anything. I have an abundance of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, potatoes, and peas. As well as some fruits - most notably blueberries. Please come take some blueberries.

Yrsa's pumpkins continue to grow, the largest is bigger than her head which she finds absolutely delightful.

I beat Keith when we took the lions out this morning and when we landed he told me it was because, and I quote "the better pilot". And then he told me my hair looked good. Anyways, long story short I've got Keith in a holding cell in the Castle. He's fine. It's just debatable if it's really him.

At home, the longest day of the year would be marked by Summerfest. The puppeteers would put on elaborate plays, and the minstrels would play long after the sun went down. Bonfires would be built at sundown, and young men and some young women, many of whom had had more drink than sense, would try to jump over them in the believe that Eda would bless the harvest the higher they jumped. There'd be feasting, both in Buckkeep Town and up at the castle, and the drink would run free.

As a lad I'd always been more keen on Springfest and Winterfest, but it's been some time since the last time I celebrated a Summerfest. The traditions here are different, but I occasionally would see echoes of home, not least because there was a celebration at all.

I'm under the impression that the longest day of the year is celebrated across worlds, which makes me wonder what the celebrations are like in other universes.

I know these hands are terrible. Definitely gross. Probably annoying.

But Deathripper is just so violently happy? It's hard not to be happy for him? Living his best helhound life, sometimes with a sibling team up. He's the best boy.
