Quick question: when did Vallo get a Big Belly Burger?

Info for any newcomers or people who just weren't aware, but - the Chakrabarti Clinic offers free first aid and sex ed classes on a monthly basis. Are there any other classes people might like to see? Some possibilities and ideas - healthy eating, stress management (don't everyone sign up all at once for that one now), smoking cessation, etc? I'm open to ideas. Somehow I also managed to collect some lucid dreaming students - teaching people how to lucid dream, that is - but I have space for more if anyone wants to learn this technique to improve sleep and put a stop to nightmares.

We're here for not only Outlanders but locals too, and we've been staying consistently busy (though we always get a spike when people decide to be Big Damn Heroes). At the clinic we have a mix of those who approach medicine in a more scientific way, and those who approach it magically - the hospitals are the same way, for the most part.

I've also been seeing some talk of the Wednesday meetings re: death and dying, so, yes. I'm Dan and I run those, Wednesdays at 8 at the DOA building. The hour before that is AA for those who are new and may be interested.

I guess that's enough 'helpful' advice from me. And now I have to go drop my cat off at 'work' because she gets mad and pisses in the clean laundry if she can't do her job.

A place from my world called Nanda Parbat arrived, and it's located within the mountains. It's not easily accessible, thankfully, but if you're up there and you find something that looks like this, it should be avoided. It's the home base of a shadow organization and it's dangerous to walk around that place if you're not familiar with it. Don't take that as a challenge. I'll be setting up security around it soon.

If there is anything anyone needs over the next few days, especially if you're healing, let me know if there's anything the department can do to help you out.

Working off the assumption that we will be in the clear next week, we won't find any Vulture stragglers, and things remain Vallo-normal, I'll make good on that dinner and drinks offer next week. Wednesday, after patrols. If something else is going on, or if everyone needs more time, let me know.

So... Seems like I'm going to be stuck here for a while. I REALLY hope this doesn't get me fired from my job back at Central City because I REALLY need that job. Is it possible to find a way to know that? It'd help me sleep at night for sure... No? Maybe? TBD? Just let me know. Please.

Honestly not the first time I've hopped worlds or otherwise fell through a portal, but it's definitely the first time I've been dead and then am suddenly not dead (checked my pulse and everything, got a heart rate, etc). Anyyway, fight club is a week from Saturday and we're throwing in a side event in honour of finding literally any excuse to throw more punches after this bollocks. So if you're interested in randomly paired fights two on two, come by this week to add your name to the pot. It's just one match per person at the tail end of the night for some extra fun. I'm sure some of you were hoping it was a one-time thing but Sara and I both agreed that November's training exercise was worth any grumbling. We'll be having round two on the 15th at the training grounds. Wear form-fitting athletic clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bring a towel. We'll make sure you're properly hydrated and fed.

Also, I'm having team t-shirts printed this time, so if you don't want me guessing, you can let me know your size or fill out a request card at the office by Thursday.
