I just saw a huge centipede and a giant spider fight to the death.

There are also several of the giant spiders lurking around outside of the bunker. I think they were looking for their friends that took up residence on the roof this morning, but they're dead now so - I suppose they'll be sorely disappointed.

I will be honest in saying that when I imagined creatures such as bugs or saw similar things while traversing Elysium, I was not aware that they were so large.

And aggressive.

There is a very large thing with many legs and pinchers that has quite the unpleasant bite.

I know it's 2020 and no one cares anymore, and here it's not like it was when I was young or where I'm from. But my therapist said it might be a good idea to have a coming out moment and since I'm here and not home, it's going to be this and not, like, telling my wife why I can't be with her or telling my workmates or my childhood friends or my family.

I'm going to close the shop on Christmas Eve and keep it closed through Christmas Day. Boyd used to do this every year which I didn't understand until, even if there were jobs to be done, and I guess I don't want to break tradition even if it's not widely celebrated here as much as Solstice. Vallo can wait. Checks will be ready to pick up tomorrow and you'll be paid for the time lost for having the shop closed whether or not you were scheduled to work that day.

I'll handle whatever work was on Michael's plate for the rest of this week and redelegate when everyone comes back.

Because this beauty showed up in my apartment, and you don't even want to know about the noise I made when I saw it. It was extremely pornographic.

'Helpful' Cold Weather Tips, incoming:

• Make sure to stay hydrated and drink a lot of water - what I mean is, basically, pee a lot. Your body is wasting energy keeping the liquid warm if you have a full bladder. You'll be warmer if your bladder is empty.

• After coming in from the cold, strip. Your clothes are hanging onto the cold air from outside. Get down to the base layer to stay warm.

• Alcohol doesn't actually make you warmer Wynonna. It lowers your core body temperature.

And hi, I'm Dan. Noticed we have a lot of new arrivals. Be assured it's not always this cold here. But I work at the Outlander clinic in the city, and we always encourage newcomers to come in for a check-up and of course if you need anything else related to health, we're there. My specialty there is sleep, but I do other stuff too.

The NA/AA support group and the support group for those who died at some point in their homeworlds will still tentatively happen tonight - I run those too, for those who are new. Though I guess it depends on how the power outage situation is. Still, the plan is to go forward as usual.

I have frostbite. I'm sure that I have frostbite, even though I've been assured that I don't. I landed in a snow drift, of course I have fucking frostbite and probably hypothermia. If I lose a toe, I'm going to be so mad.
