That works if they've got anything with tires. And context clues. Like how you know when someone says "Come over here" they don't mean "come over hear".
Versus: "One of the best Batman versus Superman moments is from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns."
Verses: "Batman and Superman teamed up to share several verses from their favorite poems at last night's open mic night."
The words before and after "versus" and "verses" help figure out which version someone means. Also, in theory, the conversation doesn't open with either sentence, so previous bits of conversation leading up to those sentences would clue you in. But if a conversation did start with one of those sentences, you'd know from the other words which word is meant and how the sentence is meant to be understood.
