Snow Globe, Day 2
While the majority of my shop was scavenged, my bunker was untouched. I regret not having more stock in it! Instead of getting the shielding and defenses up at my workshop, Sara and I relocated everything to the Undercroft at Skyhold (thanks Atreus, Cullen, and Dorian! alphabetical, not matter of importance fyi). I'll be powering up the shields and communications in the next hour, I hope you're all ready for this!

Dr. Yu, I saw you mention to Sara that you're a defense engineer - me too! If you want to put our heads together on anything, I'm available. I've managed to repair and build out three microfusion generators, which is enough to power shielding for one location and I've got them running in a staggered pattern to prevent overload. How can I help?

	With a water pump and a big enough basin, I can actually make that happen.... It shouldn't, they don't make any noise other than a low hum, but I suspect if anything's getting lured it's just because there's people. Which is why this has been my priority. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Oh, that's okay. I'm familiar with it. As long as you're not one of those creepos who have.... we'll say vivid imaginations, we'll be okay. But yes, that's the plan. 	We do--but I haven't associated with many recently. Only when I first started training, and even then. My lessons tended more towards military strategy and politics, along with magic of course. I do know how to keep my pocket from being picked! (Reply to this) (Parent)

You're now my new favorite. I need to get some more transmitters mounted this afternoon, along with their shielding; I've got turrets in various states of repair and production that I'd love to have an extra hand with; I'm modifying a nullwave device to work on some specific monsters we've seen coming around; and we're always in need of more power, especially with so many more people here. Pick a project and let's go for it, I need all the help I can get.

I used to know someone with the same name as you, but she was... very different! Spent most of her time in the shape of a coffee cup, if you can believe it. I was trying to help her, but she disappeared suddenly. Have you all had that kind of thing happen here? People disappearing?

Should I take from the description that you may have been one of the people who scavenged my workshop here? Papa's Pride mean anything to you? Everything is so rundown here now, it's like we've been transported into some kind of apocalyptic future. I hope this is something for us to avert. But yes, yes, absolutely I'm ready to help. I'm curious to see your nullwave work and I should be able to get all our turrets back to fully operational - those are my papa's specialty, I grew up learning on those. I'm working on shielding for Skyhold but if Morningside is more defensible, maybe we can relocate there.

Huh. I've been a coffee cup a few times, but I definitely spend most of my time looking human. Sometimes I'll go full typhon just to relax a little, but people tend to be more comfortable with this. If I turn into a coffee cup or a chair or a brick or whatever, it's because I need to hide in plain sight. Nobody notices a coffee cup. As for disappearances - no. We've had people suddenly appear, but no one just vanishing on us.

Morningside is just the spot we were able to fortify and keep safe most easily with the resources we had before. I'm not entirely sure that castle was even here a few days ago. Land and buildings coming and going, that happens to us pretty often.

	We've got all types in our Vallo, I'd say if we were there then you'd be able to do whatever makes you comfortable. But it sounds like you have the same situation we do in regards to buildings, and maybe less of a problem than we do with people. If you've already got Morningside fortified, maybe I should help focus on that? Or do we want to have two locations? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

My situation's a little weird. I'm Morgan Yu, human being, but I'm also a typhon. Sometimes one form will feel more comfortable than the other. I like being human, a lot of the time. Have you tried eating? Eating is great. But sometimes it's nice to just be an amorphous blob and feel surrounded by all the mental energy.

Anyway - if people are going to stay at Skyhold, we should make sure it's ready for an attack. We get all types in this Vallo, too, but most of them want to kill us.

	I actually kind of get that. I have a sensory deprivation tank in my bunker because sometimes it's nice to just float in silence and be alone with my thoughts. I get really overstimulated by the things around me. So, similar! I think that's something we have in common - angry creatures showing up and trying to hurt or kill us. (Reply to this) (Parent)
