She'd try to keep the optimism. It was hard though, Alexis knew that - but regardless, she snuggled up to her brother and gently thwapped him with a throw pillow; she wasn't going anywhere, and she'd be here to help him get through this Time of Weirdness.
"You can finish the bottle," she insisted, and if getting hammered was going to help a little then she wouldn't discourage it. Sometimes you just needed to do it. "And I'll tell you about the products in the store right now?"
Maybe that would help too, as a distraction. But she'd go on and on if she needed to, until David passed out and everything went blissfully blank.
