Vallo had a lot of pros and cons and Wynonna was certain that if she sat down long enough to write out a list, it would be on the hefty side. One of those things being the fact that people could come and go so frequently here, a person almost just had to be used to the idea of it happening as soon as they arrived just to avoid the hurt that it would cause down the road. Of course, no matter how much a person tried to prepare themselves, it still sucked when someone disappeared. It sucked even more when that person was a friend.
So when Jo had disappeared and then reappeared not that long ago, it had excited her. Except it was different. Jo hadn't remembered anything from before (which she knew was more common than not), so Wynonna found it difficult to... re-bond, as it were. But now she was back again. With memories. And that excited her more than she had anticipated, because she'd really missed having Jo around, even though they'd really only just formed a friendship when she had left.
The waypoints made it easier to get from one place to another, but the one near her house was still a bit of a walk, so it had taken her a little longer to get to Galahd's than normal. Arriving, she looked around the bar and spotted Jo sitting there with a whiskey and a bottle, a grin on her face. “Holy shit, Harvelle!” she cheered, coming up behind the younger woman and grabbing the bottle, laughing. “I love that you don't fuck around. Can I get a glass, please?” she asked the bartender, batting her eyelashes jokingly before looking back over at the blonde, her smile wide. “It's good to see you.”
