Loki had been mostly raised by a sorceress and partially raised by the strongest man in Asgard - he was intrinsically linked to the energy of places for it was that which he drew his seidr from, in many aspects. He also had to assume that was the reason he couldn't seem to bring himself out of this place, not even to wander the branches of Yggdrasil. They seemed far from it, somehow. They seemed far from everything that he knew and for somebody who had wandered the spaces between realms, that was an odd feeling - he was almost even relieved to see familiar faces in people like Steve Rogers when he took that into account because at least there was something here to ground him in the reality of this place.
Still, Valkyrie was here. He'd never gotten her real name but he'd also never asked for it and he wasn't sure that she would divulge it if she still knew it, but it wasn't his question to ask. Not now, at least - he had invaded her memories once by means of necessity and regardless of whether or not he was curious, he wouldn't do it again. Not without permission, at least.
It wasn't hard to track down New Asgard and by extension her queen, his footsteps soft as he walked along a cliff face that didn't look too far from the one Odin had taken his journey to Valhalla from. "Valkyrie," he greeted. "Or is it 'My queen', now? I am not sure if I still count as a Prince, what with my blood and our existence in this realm," he moved to take a seat beside her on the cliff, tucking one foot under his thigh as he rested his arms on his knees. His neck still bore the black and blue marks of Thanos' hands on it, something he didn't have the energy or care to hide right now. "I see Banner is also here."
