"Starving is putting it lightly, my stomach is about to start eating itself," he smiled, and as if on cue his stomach let out a small rumble to protest how empty it probably was. He gestured for Dean to lead the way, but he would bet anything he could have led them there himself. Whatever had happened to him, however familiar any of this place seemed, Sam was sure he hadn't just come back. Dean was too - cool about it. Of course he didn't expect him to jump up and down or throw a parade, but the reaction was subdued enough that Sam knew that something wasn't right.
"How long was I down? I know it seemed short to me, but was it a long time?"
