Sam had finally agreed to move into the bunker and it felt like a win for Dean. He couldn't help but wonder what had actually happened at the hotel, what his mirage had said to his younger brother. Was that the reason he decided to make the move? Dean had been so distracted by the situation as a whole that he hadn't even asked why Sam needed stitches. Did his mirage hurt Sam? That was something he couldn't imagine ever doing. He'd never been able to kill Sam, and even when he bore the mark of Cain and acted as if he were soulless himself, Dean hadn't been able to make the ultimate sacrifice. He wouldn't and didn't go through with killing Sam. No, each and every time he was faced with a situation where it looked like killing Sam was the only answer, Dean was always ready and willing to sacrifice himself in turn. He would never let his brother go so easily.
There was a slight amount of guilt that Dean felt as he gathered the materials he would need to patch up Sam. There was Michael, who could easily heal his wound, but Dean hadn't presented that as an option. Depending on the severity of the wound he would likely talk to Adam about it afterwards. He was in the infirmary when he heard Sam call out and he hurried out to the stairs eagerly. "Hey, man. I forgot to ask, what exactly happened with you? Did you get hurt at the hotel?"
