Oh, if the sky comes falling down, for you There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do What if I'm far from home? Oh brother, I will hear you
The entire ride to the Bunker had seen Sam thinking back to the conversation he had had with Dean just a little bit earlier. Without a doubt he had been a little (lot) loopy when they were talking, which was uncharacteristic for him - he seriously had thought that he had finally found a way to get drunk by pouring whiskey directly into a bullet wound he had gotten yesterday when in reality he had been poring the whiskey straight down his back and missing the wound entirely - but he knew that a few things had happened. First, he had told Dean a little about his adventure at the fucked up hotel, a thing which he said he wasn't going to do, but he didn't seem to be able to help himself. The drunk feeling he had had made shit spill out that he wasn't planning to spill. Second, Dean thought really poorly of him. Even the Dean he had just left behind didn't seem to be this hesitant of him and talked to him easily. Older Dean just liked to tell Sam he wouldn't or didn't care anyway, and that was pissing him off. Third, as evidenced by the duffle bag he clutched in his hand, he had agreed to move into the Bunker. He didn't know why he had agreed to that, he really didn't. He was into keeping people safe from his opinions and the lack of a filter he had on his mouth, and being around so many would... probably not work out for the best.
He looked at the entrance to the place for a long, long time before opening the door and going in. He again decided to forego knocking as Dean knew he was coming, and for better or worse, this was going to be his new home. Sam opened the second door and winced at the sharp pain he felt in his shoulder from its weight, but sucked it up and headed down the stairs anyway, only calling for Dean when he reached the bottom.
