Seeing Alec's face had left him a little on edge, having never come across the situation before. Yes, he had met himself in the future but that was still him, not someone else who just looked like him. He had also met one of many alternate world versions of Sam and him. But, they had been the same age, and still Sam and Dean Winchester, just with different personas. There was always the possibility of a shapeshifter, but, he had never seen one become a younger version of someone. Still, he would take the necessary precautions and he had poured some holy water into the drink he planned to offer Alec.
There was also a part of him that couldn't shake the feeling Alec could somehow be his son. If he just looked like him he wouldn't have gone that deep into thought over it, but, they seemed to have too many similarities. Just like he did with Ben. While it seemed highly unlikely that could be the case, it still left him with an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of his stomach.
Dean heard the door open, followed by the whistle and he made his way over to the staircase to greet Alec. Wow. He stood there in a stupor, trying to make himself realize that this was not a younger version of Dean Winchester. At least he didn't think so. No, it definitely wasn't. Right? "Hey, man. Did Adam help get your shoulder patched up?"
