"Competitive to a fault?" Tommy asked, leaning back so he could look Bobby over. "Hm... no, I never would've guessed that." Honestly, he wasn't surprised by that information. He sort of assumed superheroing took a certain type of personality if you wanted to survive. He wasn't sure if competitiveness went hand in hand with that but it could've? Oliver had been slightly competitive but he wasn't really a superhero. "I'm not saying I'm the one rigging them. It's more of a commentary on carnival games in general. Either way, maybe, we'll save those for the end of the night." Vallo had been nice enough to give Bobby his hefty bank account. Tommy was going to make sure his competitive spirit didn't send him back to the poor house.
He smiled a little as the other man listed off their options. There was one that sort of stuck out a little and Tommy was about to open his mouth to add his thoughts when the taller man decided to thumb him in the chest. "Okay, Ice Hunk..." He started, lifting a hand to cover the one at his chest without actually pushing it away too successfully, "that all sounds more like a state fair. A southern state fair. We can look but, maybe, don't get your hopes up." The fortune telling they could definitely check out. He wasn't actually sure about the petting zoo or the oversized vegetables. They could look though.
He nodded towards the Ferris Wheel, deciding that cliche didn't actually sound too bad. Who was going to judge them for it? "It doesn't spin. It rotates." He said, letting Bobby know the conclusion he'd come to on the ride. "We'll be able to see a majority of the fair from up there, including your fortune teller so we know where to go next... and cliche might not be that bad." Besides, he sort of liked the idea of the two of them being almost on top of each other in the small space the ride provided. It was the closest he could get to being alone with Bobby in the crowds of people.
