"I am getting my brains from somewhere. My friend Ravi has a source." Liv couldn't help but smile at how curious he was. Usually that could be off-putting, but usually curiosity came with a feeling like she was a freak. He didn't make her feel that way.
"I eat a brain every few days and, yes, only human. I don't know what would make a difference, I've never tried eating a pig brain. The craving, the innate need, is for human brains. I don't know the why behind it though," she said with a simple shrug.
She picked up the tea and took a small sip, careful not to burn herself. "I would not call the bodies in the morgue patients, but yes. I would eat their brains and help solve their murders. Now I'm just an ordinary doctor working with the living again." It was still taking a little adjusting to get used to being a doctor, when solving murders had become her entire reason for being.
