People didn't normally pass by here, and Caduceus wasn't particularly surprised by that. The ever present dark sky gave the manor a rather imposing aura, and it was understandable that they didn't get many outside visitors. So seeing anyone wandering rather purposefully towards them would have piqued his interest, even if he wasn't expecting anyone.
He stood up out of politeness, even if it left him looming over Liv, stooping so that it was maybe a little bit less imposing.
"I'm so glad you could make it. I didn't know if you wanted anything to eat, or if you could eat anything, so I kind of just made stuff- you're not obligated, there's enough mouths in there that'll happily finish any leftovers," he smiled, sitting again, crossed legged and still slightly stooped. "Are we far from where you live?"
