If someone's a ghost, there's typically a reason they haven't moved on." The thought was sobering, and he changed the subject again.
"Well I wouldn't say I knew him, only that us Outlanders tend to keep in touch, which I'm sure you've noticed. I should get to know him, shouldn't I? I might as well be friends with the devil, since god didn't seem to like me very much." This was said casually, as it didn't really bother him that he wasn't wanted in heaven.
