October just nodded. “I guess at least we’re relatively close in time.” It wasn’t that big of a deal, she supposed. Tybalt didn’t seem to care and that was good, though he usually was a collected sort of man. He was a cat too, after all and a king.
It’d have been much stranger if he knew things about her that she didn’t remember. “I haven’t seen you in…well, since then,” she admitted. She’d just needed time. She’d been avoiding a lot of people, but if she were honest with herself, she knew she was avoiding him most.
This whole trip to Vallo had definitely shaken some things up, including her perspective.
But I’m glad I’m seeing you now, she thought. A thought she’d already vocalized before, so she didn’t say it again. The look on her face probably said it again though.
