Toby saw the roll of his eyes and chose to ignore it. She knew it was coming, knew he'd probably think it was ridiculous, but it didn't matter. She'd said it and they'd moved on.
"Good," she smiled. With this many people, there had to be a ton of restaurants. It wasn't like it was a little place, or it didn't seem like it anyway.
At the fact that he'd pay though, she raised her eyebrows but didn't argue. There was no real reason to argue with Tybalt over it. A lot of times she'd win in their arguements, but she was tired and definitely needed food. She was trying to pick her battles with him, even though the urge to say that that most of the time men only pay when it's a date was there in full-force. One dinner wouldn't matter.
"Alright. How about something with burgers. Not McDonalds, but some sit down place."The catch up time warranted something a little more formal, but not italian food and steak formal. She didn't even know if they had McDonald's. Or In-and-Out!
"You good with that?" she grinned, not able to help it. she said. Heading toward the door, Toby grabbed the keys out of her pocket, ready to go before he even answered. She was starving.
