"It's all right if you don't remember him." Dom patted her on the shoulder. "He's not here, after all." And if he hadn't shown up by now he probably wouldn't. She remembered Molly hadn't thought much of him back then, but she would have really had a cow if the father had been Keir Sloper. Responsibility and good judgement off the Quidditch Pitch wasn't a phrase associated with him regardless of how good he looked.
"She did. But the fact that Mac proposed helped." She'd taken to wearing the ring on a necklace since her fingers had swollen up. Being accepting of the situation wasn't the same as being happy, but Dom was about as happy as she could be in this place to finally have family with her.
"I don't know, I wanted to be surprised. Names have been picked out for all three possibilities. And my friends here had a baby shower for me a few months ago, everything's ready." It was such a relief to have Molly here that Dom had to wipe away a few tears.
