The invitation found you. All Outlanders eighteen and over received the "enchanted" telegram; flown through a window, in the pages of a book they were reading, they were unavoidable.
Of course, nothing is forcing you to come. You could be boring and stay home. Your choice.
The tiny, rundown bookstore stuck out. Where the hell did the magicians get a bookstore? How did they move it into the warehouse district? The classically trained are crafty and wily as fuck. It's best you don't know.
Of course, you have to have the password to get in. If the invitation didn't make it obvious, it's "Quentin sent me."
The door (hidden bookshelf) is enchanted. Not only do you have to know the password to get in, once you cross the threshold, you're dressed in Gatsby finery. That's right, bitches, if the invite and the entrance didn't already give it away, you're invited to a Gatsby Party.
YOUR BARTENDER • JOSH HOBBERMAN. He has literally mixed drinks for Bacchus. There's a reason it's not Eliot behind the bar, Eliot has nothing to teach this man. The cocktails are divine.
YOUR SERVER • TODD. Right. He's here, too. Eliot dressed him up sharp and he'll be walking around with a silver tray of whatever magic deliciousness they're serving.
YOUR HOSTS • ELIOT WAUGH & MARGO HANSON. Be a wallflower at your peril. These two will read you all over the dance floor, and boot you if you cause trouble that isn't fun.
Oh... did you think that was all? Five classically trained magicians worked some serious cooperative party magic to put this together— and if there's anything these magicians excel at it's hedonism.
This is a Gatsby Party, of course there's a pool. The speakeasy? Gets crazier and more improbable the further you get. Despite being underground, there's plenty of light. The air shimmers with a constant stream of champagne bubbles and noiseless fireworks.
And the music? Well, we hope you enjoy the electro swing.
So dance the night away, this place will be gone in the morning.
