They'd been through a lot up on the roof and perhaps the shared experience put the last few months of their lives into a different perspective, Teresa wasn't sure, but if Thomas was willing to trust her again she'd take it. "Thanks," she said with a relieved smile.
"Sure, he needs to sleep it off," she said with a nod of understanding, wondering just how long it would take Newt to recover. The scientist in her couldn't help but speculate as to whether he would now be immune the The Flare after he'd received Thomas' blood, but she bit her tongue. The last thing he or Thomas would want right now was to be treated like a lab rat.
Teresa gave an awkward smile and closed the door behind her, unable to help feeling as if her escape route had just been blocked. But this was Thomas and she took another step towards him and then sat beside him on the sofa. "This places is so different from home," she said in disbelief. "Can you imagine having a TV in The Glade?" she asked, trying to take the conversation to a lighter place. "I missed it, you know?" Teresa said meeting his eyes finally. "Being with you all, I mean. I never felt fully at ease at WICKED after being in The Glade," but she'd made her bed and dealt with it the way she'd felt best. "Tell me what happened to you?" she asked softly, "after I fell. After I died," she clarified, knowing the only reason she was here was the magic of this place taking her when it did. "What happened next?"
