Teresa gave a small nod, taking Thomas' lead and though part of her wanted to study Newt and see the cure in action she also knew that Thomas was protecting his friend from her. And she entirely understood his motives. "I'm glad it worked," she said softly, because that meant everything that they'd suffered and had gone through was worth it. The cure was everything. That Newt had benefited from it here was the best outcome to their current situation.
"I didn't know," she said with an embarrassed shrug, and felt herself fidgeting a little under Thomas' scrutiny. Teresa knew what he was weighing up - could he trust her. It was as simple as that and in his shoes it wasn't a question she could answer on the spot. She was about to just turn around and walk back out the way she'd come when he spoke. Her brow furrowed a little and she cocked her head as she looked at Thomas. "You're willing to take that risk? After everything we've been through?" she asked in disbelief. "Okay," Teresa said moving fully into the room and giving the place a cursory glance, "you won't regret it, though you can break the news to Newt."
