PJ nodded. "Yeah... I can see Fate playing her hand there. She's a sneaky bitch," the hybrid chuckled.
It sounded like one of those farfetched stories that was too interesting to not be true. PJ heard (and lived) a lot of those. a lot.
She wasn't sure what she thought about getting engaged just because she was pregnant, but it wasn't PJ's place to say anything. Besides, the empath could actually feel the love there when she talked about the guy. So... you know, there was that. It definitely spoke to the Cupid half of her. And maybe the witch half, as well, since her mother was who she was.
"Surprises can be fun!" she countered, nodding in agreement. "I don't know if I could be patient enough to be surprised about something like that, but kudos to you. You've definitely got more patience than I do."
Deciding on names could be difficult for a pet, let alone a baby. Or two. "My parents had it pretty easy. My mom wanted to keep the family tradition of naming us with names that started with 'P'."
