In all honesty, when PJ arrived in Vallo (wherever the hell that was), she hadn't planned on sticking around. Even with the DOA person who came to get her telling her that there was no way to leave, she'd spent a good portion of her morning trying to do exactly that.
Beaming offered no respite. The moment she beamed out, she'd beam right back in at another crystal. A "waypoint" she remembered the DOA person saying. Magic. Like her own. Like her sisters'. Like her mother's and father's and aunts' and uncle's and cousins'... except very different altogether.
Once she'd tired herself out and actually stopped to listen to the person who had come to get her, she started taking in all the information. She'd have a place to live... money... she'd need to get a job, but she was already prepared for that. After all, she'd seen a body shop not too long ago as they walked and whoever the hell was talking to her explained about the DOA Defensive Squad as well.
PJ could get behind that, she assumed.
So, for now, the first living Cupid / Witch hybrid decided not to cause trouble and make waves. She'd wait it out. Wait for her family to track her down. And then they'd all strike if need be.
Of course... that meant PJ needed a little distraction. She'd noted the pool when she was led to Morningside Manor earlier and had gone to town once she'd been debriefed to get some things.
Including a new burgundy bikini.
It was in the bikini, a pair of flip flops, and a white sarong tied around her waist that the halfling made her way to the pool she'd seen earlier. She wasn't surprised to find it occupied, per se. More to find that the person occupying it looked to be very pregnant.
Either way might as well greet the other person. PJ wasn't too keen on any of this, but she'd make the best of it.
