When I first found myself in Vallo, more than two years ago, I found myself quite unmoored. Vallo was like no place I had ever been, beyond even my wildest imaginings, both in terms of technology and culture.
I was lucky enough to make friends with men and women who helped acclimatize me to this new world; some a little less gently than others. I'm afraid the last of those kind people have now gone. But thanks to Ignis, I've now found a pleasure and ability in cooking that I likely never would have found had I remained home and never met him, and his affection for his husbands is, I suspect, at least part of the reason I was able to allow myself to fall for my own husband. If, three years ago, someone had told me I'd not only witness, but also help plan the bachelor party for a wedding between four men, I would have thought them quite mad, but I am glad, very glad, that they allowed me to be a part of their lives.
Ignis, Noctis, Prompto and Gladios will be missed. But they'll not be forgotten any time soon.
