I kind of always liked the idea of working with kids, but being a pilot was always the focus. Don't really have that option now so thought I'd check out the other option.

It took me a while to get to this though - my current job, had a few random things before this, took some time to figure things out. The whole remembering how to be a civilian thing you mentioned? It takes some time so don't feel bad if you don't immediately make the transition.
