I'm going to have to just go ahead and purchase one of those fancy espresso machines for anyone who has assisted me with my return to Vallo, because at this rate I'm never going to be able to afford coffees for everyone who has gotten me back into my various locked accounts.

I'm very sorry. We didn't have computers where I'm from. We had guards, and you could usually just kill those when you wanted past them. We're all learning together.

We had guards too! But you could not kill them because A. they were me and B. I was doing the killing.

It’s awful. Did you know they frown on you writing it down somewhere as well? Why can’t I just use magic to secure such things, I’ll never know.

I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth for magics that influence the mind. Admittedly I have used magic to place guards on files and important notes, so I suppose it’s not too far off the mark…

I assume Evie remembers the passwords between the two of you?
