My just-okay way is usually blowing up or destroying stuff at the yard or in the lab/workshops. Or sparring until it doesn't feel so oppressive and then stuffing my face. I guess making a huge mess makes me being a huge mess feel like not as big a thing? I dunno.
The average people answer would probably be something like picking whatever would keep their brain engaged, like if they aren't great at an activity but they like doing it, go do that. Like ice skating? Most people need to concentrate unless they're skaters, but it's fun.
