He'd figured as much and this whole situation wasn't entirely conducive to coherent conversations. Scott was mostly relieved Stiles hadn't flipped out at the thought of him going back to the forest, but he'd park that for now and get on with their date. "Look at Mr. In the Moment," he teased gently, wishing he could ignore the way his brain focused on all the shit around him and not always on the stuff happening right now. "I'm faking the flailing entirely for your benefit, by the way," Scott said with an innocent smirk.
"Not when you're back there with knives," he said with a laugh. "If Beacon Hills has taught me anything it's never let anyone creep up on me with weapons," he teased Stiles back. His boyfriend was probably right and the pressure of trying to do this in front of him was making Scott even more clumsy. "Since when have I taken the easy route on anything?" he asked as he tried to simply concentrate on staying upright and moving in vaguely the same way Stiles was doing.
