"Curious in what way?" Harry asked, genuinely interested in hearing how Karrin saw what he did. It was so much apart of his nature that he didn't think much of how wizarding looked to people who didn't. He did, however, care how she thought. About a great many things and if he hadn't explained something to her correctly, or had skipped something in the heat of the moment, he'd rather know it. "Most of what I do takes work," he said, taking the assumption that, as they were talking about his lair it was the area Murph wanted to know more about. "It's about crafting and study even more than the fire and brimstone," Harry said with a frown. "I usually start from the premise that, at some point, someone is going to try and kill me," which happened far more often than he liked to think about, "so I try to find creative ways to store and focus the power I have while casting spells that use as little energy as possible." He looked at her with a frown, "does that make sense?" Or was that even what she was edging to know?
"Honestly, a lair would look super-hot on you," he said with a side-wards smirk of appreciation. "You could even get a suit... and now we're ranging into dangerous territory that my brain is going to get all kinds of heck for if I carry on down that path..." Probably better stop digging while he could still see out of the hole he'd dug.
It wasn't often he heard Murph talk like this, so when she did Harry had the decency to shut the hell up and listen. He'd never understand the pressure she'd been under to fit in, even if he'd had his own tribulations to overcome, they were entirely different circumstances. "You certainly proved you can kick ass," he said softly, thinking how many times she'd thrown down with him. "I think you've proven yourself in every possible way that counts, but sometimes it's hard to convince yourself of that, huh?" Harry said with understanding. She held herself to higher standards and took on other people's responsibilities, as did he, and when he couldn't see it through... yeah, he beat himself up for it too.
