He shot Karrin a smirk, without even the slightest bit of embarrassment. "Who doesn't want a lair? It's a lair!" Harry said in nerdish delight. Murph knew the package she was buying and no amount of teasing would cause him shame. Unabashed nerdery all the way! "But, when it's not being a lair it's mostly just a lab," he said backtracking, just a little, because he was a grown man who would quite like the girl he adored to think kindly of him. "We could try and find you a lair too?" he said with a glint of mischief in his eye. "I mean, if you feel threatened by my lair," he teased.
This was nice. Cosy, and almost homely. Yeah, don't get ahead of yourself, Harry, he warned himself as he watched Murphy pet Mouse. "Hey, I'm a gent and clarification is everything," he told her with an innocent smile that he doubted he pulled off convincingly. Harry was happy and couldn't hide it as he took Karrin's hand and they headed out into the street. "I kinda like your menacing side, truth be told," he told her with a light hip bump. "Knowing someone so tiny can pack such a big punch is..." sexy as hell? "...very cool," he decided on, so that he didn't end up on the wrong end of one of those punches.
