What are these powers and what do they do? What Are These Powers And What Do They Do?
Aether: You’re invisible until you interact with an object (this includes violence) or until one minute passes.
Havoc: you are a paragon of physical violence (deal lots of damage, hard to kill)
Karnesis: Hurl up to three people through the air (at once)
Nexus: Link up to six nearby people to each other (nearby meaning an average size, 12x12 foot room); what is done to one is done to all
Blink: Short-range (as in 12 feet in any non-wall direction) teleportation
Reprise: You get two extra deaths per loop. That is, the first two times you die, you rewind a few seconds and then keep going. It’s not until your third death that you actually loop. No one will remember your death except your fellow loopers.
Void Gaze: Identify people and objects of significance, even through walls. People will appear as a person-shaped golden glow, important objects as a blue glow.
Swarm: Summon a swarm of rats that will, within the capabilities of a bunch of rats, do your bidding. They can cause a distraction, maybe get an out of reach object? Devour a human being? Think creatively. (They cannot make you a dress or a ratatouille, nor can they perform a choreographed dance number. They’re still just rats.)
Pull: Grab an item from a 12 foot distance and pull it to your hand. Anything you could ordinarily lift at least a couple inches off the ground is pullable.
Whispers: Pick up thoughts from Daud or Aleksis to help you function in the Void.
Fog Caller: Call in a thick fog that obscures vision for a time, allowing you to do shady shit in secret.
Mimic Matter: take the form of a nearby object. Anything smaller than an average human being is fair game. (You cannot mimic a whole human)
Summon Aid - Summon an NPC to fight with you, or help get in somewhere, or…something. Depending on where you are, this power will summon a different NPC.
The Compass: At first glance, it looks like an old-fashioned mariner’s compass. Activated, it will transfer the user to a different aspect of the Void. If used in Dunwall tower, the holder will be transferred to the equivalent room in Karl’s Bay. If used in Karl’s Bay, the holder will be transferred to the equivalent room in Talos I. If used on Talos I, the holder will be transferred to the equivalent room in Dunwall Tower. Some rooms are dead zones where you can’t travel, but these are few.
As a reminder, powers do not cost any action points to use. The only power-related action that costs points is taking a summoned NPC from one room to another.
