( It was - Lan Xichen did a quick mental calculation - the fifth most embarrassing moment of his life. )

I love this time of year! I love the carols, I love the decorations, I love finding the perfect present for people and finding the perfect bag to put it in because I am a terrible wrapper, and I love an extra reason to show goodwill towards all. :)

And I love the candy! Which is probably no surprise :))))))))) So, with Bitty's AMAZING help (he made the gingerbread and demoed how to do the icing and I'm PRETTY SURE he stuck in a few extra pieces for tasting, A++++++++++ would recommend for forever) I built some gingerbread houses! It helps when you know the texture of literally all candy and what works well flavor profile wise. :)))))

Pending unavoidable disasters and Vallo being Vallo, we're going to have a gathering for Nyx's birthday on the 18th 17th since there's a wedding going on for the actual day. Start showing up around six? It's pretty casual, he just wants to spend time with you all.

If anyone wants to pitch in to help me make it look nice though, I won't say no to help.

First, let me say I'm not making this post looking for any sympathy, comfort, or reaction. I'm also not making this post because I owe anyone any explanation. I'm making it because not talking about it is making it harder for me to deal with it. Someone is also going to notice something eventually, given how often we're facing some sort of attack.

A little while back I ended up with one of those 'updates' from home, the one that comes with physical updates along with new memories. To keep a story short, I died again, I was cloned, and my DNA was spliced with alien DNA in the process. So I'm now a half-alien hybrid clone with regeneration abilities.

I realize how ridiculous that sounds.

So if you ever see me get shot and then get up and keep going, pay no attention.

For the Magical Winter Wonderland hopefully on December 22nd to December 27th, I have offered my services to organize all the businesses who would be interested in hosting a booth, ride, or some kind of attraction alongside the ones that are being provided for the event.

To recap there will be Santa's Village with Santa and his elves, an outdoor skating rink, a market (selling food, alcohol, and gifts), and live music. There will also be rides including a Ferris wheel, carousel, roller coaster, a swinging Santa's Sleigh, floating bumper cars, and some smaller rides for younger children. From what I'm told all rides are spelled to run so there won't be any need for help there.


If you are unsure what to do, as George stated in his first post that himself and Fred love collaborations and outside input. They are willing to work with anyone who is interested!

Dorian's will be reopening next Tuesday.
