Any insight on the giant robot lion that casually landed downtown yesterday?

Anyway, the Orchestra has decided they're going to do a night of Lord of the Rings music and I'm pretty excited about it. I have a hard time sitting through the movies and the books, but the soundtrack is a different story.

It's now March, which means only TWO MONTHS (not counting this one, duh) until my birthday!! Well, I mean, it's late May, but whatever! I am just gonna tell you that my interests are pokemon cards, tsum tsums, cool animal-themed hats, cake, and anything Dazzler. I guess that last one's not likely because she's not even here. LAME. But you know. You're welcome in advance for not having to think too hard about future presents. :)

BUT SPEAKING OF POKEMON CARDS! Hey! Henry! Wanna come on a raid with me later? I just got a Raichu!

[ Filtered to Richie ]

So your birthday is coming up, and I was curious - how do you feel about surprise birthday parties? I realize that asking you this removes the actual element of surprise, but different people like different things, and while you seem the sort to "roll with it" (and how), I didn't want to put you in the delicate position of being shocked by having people in your apartment that you didn't plan for.

For the record: I don't mind surprise parties, but I also like to make sure that I'm wearing something nice and have recently brushed my teeth, so-- I prefer "surprise" parties in which heavy hinting is involved. Also, I'm dense, so I mean-- very heavy hinting. Lots of eyebrow work. Given the girth of your eyebrows, I have every confident that you can succeed.

EDITED TO ADD: [Filter to Richie's Friends ]
The seventh is Richie's birthday, and I'd like to throw him a surprise party. I'm thinking Skyhold, as it's fairly easy to keep clean, but if you have any other ideas, I'm listening. I've already got an idea for a coffee bar - it's how we met - but I think we need some sustenance as well. Would appreciate any help or planning ideas!

[ /Filter ]

Today, I had a cruffin, which is-- I don't even know. A gift? From fickle deities? Let's just say that so far, strange combinations of things have really worked out well, because the cockapoo I met at the animal shelter benefit was adorable. What other strange combinations of things should I see or try? I've already done "fight a god while armless" so cross off that one.

It occurred to me this morning -- while trying to hurriedly help Kiri find one of her shoes so I could take her and Velora to school before stopping to get a pair of lattes and oversized muffins to share with my 'chev before our school started -- that I have been here in Vallo nearly a year. And, while that is truly not a very long stretch of time in the grand scheme of things, had I been told a year ago that I would have been doing any of those things in as many months time, I would have likely laughed at the impossibility.

And yet, here we are. Life is funny.

Would you be willing to teach me a spell?

This is definitely not where I expected to end up after. I guess the multiverse wasn't done with me yet.

My name is Oliver Queen, but I'm not sure how many of you that will mean something to.

I've always been a reader, and while the libraries at Bridgerton House and Aubrey Hall were very well stocked with a vast array of subjects, it was still lacking. I know this now especially well considering I'm 200 years later and there have been such great developments in all subjects, and I imagine quite a few of those books that I read would be laughably outdated if they were to be read now.

So, I ask this of all of you, if you're willing and so inclined - what book, whether fantastical or scientific, whether a novel or historical, would you recommend as a - how did I hear it described? oh yes - a "must-read."

Hi, for those of you I haven’t met yet, I’m Josie Saltzman and I have a question for the masses. Well, two, really.

- fellow teens, which school do you go to and what do you like about it? I’m looking for pro/con list material here. Anything that might help me narrow down which one is right for me, I guess.

- this one is really for anyone to answer – my sister and I will be having a birthday in a couple of weeks. We just had one at home, but we decided we wanted to just have kind of a do-over birthday and maybe have a party, but we’re both so new here, so suggestions on where we could throw a party would be really awesome since we’re really still learning out way around here.
