A few others have introduced themselves so I suppose I should, too. Ciri. I see no use in hiding anything about myself at this point, with the Wild Hunt mostly taken care of and the White Frost gone - raised as a Witcher, a sorceress and I don't usually stay in one place for too long. I haven't really had the opportunity to.

My skills include swordsmanship, alchemy, sorcery, teleporting through time, space and the barriers between universes and Dandelion attempted to teach me how to play the lute but it didn't really stick, unfortunately.

Praise be to Tally, who taught me how to make dandelion wine while we were in Depresso Vallo and so I started a batch here and it is like, for super smart people because it requires yeast and a fermentation vessel. Catch me on the flip side after 500 hours, it'll be ready and we'll drink it all.

Also, here's a handy list for people from Absolutely Not Vallo, if you never had real junk food before and need to perk up your tastebuds. This is just a starter.

Hi everyone! Reggie here, 1/4th of the band Julie & the Phantoms.

So, we know last week was like really crazy and upsetting for everyone, and we wanted to help if we could. And we figure almost everyone loves music, right?

We're putting on a free concert this Friday at Ásynja Meadery. (Thanks, Torunn!) It'll be at 7:30, and hopefully a good chance for everyone to come hang out and enjoy themselves for a little while. Problem: In my attempts to glean information or a solution or to simply do something I crafted many a potion that I have...very limited information on as to the effects. Without my standard ingredients I was forced to be innovative and although I know my intentions I'm not entirely convinced I was successful.

Solution: Glorious Purveyors is having a mystery potion sale! Although we're not liable for any damages (and will make you sign a release, naturally), they all do something positive! And, again, I had limited time and resources so everything is of a minor effect. Anyway! Risk takers apply, I'll do my best to steer you towards a certain one if there's something you're angling for but I make no promises.

Also! We're hosting a salon on Friday--ask Dorian for the exact pronunciation of the word, he does it so well it's shameful. Expect lots of wine, fantastic people, idle gossip, a display of talents, to spend your money, and readings from romance novels (but only from Chastity's Nook, a most stupendous of bookstores).

It was almost two months that I was over there in Terrible Vallo, so thank you again to everyone that facilitated and figured out how to break us out of that damn thing. This world is still leagues different from what I know from home, but I will absolutely take it.

For anyone who is new, or newly interested, I wanted to remind everyone about the Outlander Coven. Vallo itself is populated by a number of covens, some big, some small, with various ranges of specialties. The Outlanders have our own Coven, and we come together to talk magic, teach, learn, and forge connections with the local covens.

Obviously, it's not required for anyone with magic to participate. But if anyone is interested, you're welcome to check it out.

On that note, Imbolc is on Monday, February 1. The Covens will be celebrating the beginning of Spring. Expect some big bonfires to celebrate the returning of the sun. There will be food, magic demonstrations, and likely some weather divination happening. Think of it as a magic groundhog day to find out if winter will last or if spring is around the corner.

It's also a time for spring cleaning, so if you have anything that you're looking to get rid of, consider bringing it to the celebrations. The covens will collect donations for charity.

There's also going to be something like a polar swim early morning on Monday, jumping into moving water to cleanse and purify.


OUTLANDER COVEN.

We have a meeting on the 28 in the backroom of Uncommon Goods for those who can make it. Please feel free to bring snacks with you if you'd like. I'll confirm which covens have extended an invitation for Imbolc events that are not open to the general public then.
