I'm getting super good at tarot cards (mostly) and the card I pulled this morning was Five of Pentacles, which has two people drudging through ice and snow on it. I guess you could take it as literal but it's supposed to mean isolation and worry too, and like - struggling. I'm kind of wary because ice and snow are the actual worst. So is struggling through snow, like, I had enough of that shit growing up. One time I was the only sober one at a high school party so I took my friend's car to get us more booze, of course, and spent fuck knew how long digging the car out from beneath snow and clearing ice - only to get inside and accidentally hit the button for the sunroof.

And that's my 'fuck snow' story. What's yours?

The Vallo Symphony Orchestra will be performing a free community concert on Sunday December 20.

Wonderland: A Winter Solstice Celebration will be held at the outdoor pavilion.

Doors at 5, concert at 6. Seating is the pavilion is limited, but there's always space on the hill behind it. Dress warm, bring blankets. I'm pretty sure they're going to be serving hot drinks as well.

Does anyone have a timeline on how long it can take others to arrive? People very important? I am impatient on the best of days and for Apple (the donkey, thank you, new friend Diego, for taking good care of him!) to arrive before Lan Zhan is unusual. And annoying. I have found good alcohol (he wouldn't approve) and a JOB (he would approve) and it is rude.

His loss, I guess. But Anyway, disciples of magic and the University of Unseen Arts, I am a professor there now. You should all attend my classes. At some point in the future, we'll have field trips into the forest for the hands-on experience called night-hunts! And there will be snacks, maybe soup. Basically, I am a cool teacher and I'm not going to make you write out punishments if you pass notes.
