Every so often the stars align, lightning strikes, the orchestra swells to a crescendo and you meet someone who shares your love of verbosity, panache, the arcane arts, accessories, and properly groomed facial hair. You spend hours together before a fete rearranging floral decor and debating over the proper dimness the light should be. You receive what I've learned is called a 'selfie'--a veritable bounty of them, in fact, and deliberate over the most flattering angle (it was no. 56, for the record, Dorian, your jaw!).

You realize, that running two separate, wildly successful enterprises that have very similar aspirations of providing unique, top quality enchanted items, potions, relics, antiques, and ephemera to the world. Thus, misty eyed and heartfelt, Dorian and I proudly present under one banner:

We're in the process of moving everything over to the shop's location in the forest, redecorating, and enlarging the physical space. Today it's all about ensuring that Thaddeus Gigantus Crumbum the Third settles in nicely (he's a Stone golem, absolutely delightful to converse with but does take his sentinel status quite seriously, don't take it too personally if he doesn't respond right away). Nesta, darling Nesta, is our compass pointing true north whilst being a superb source of Fae materials, never leave me lest I wither away! Come on Monday, darlings, we can't wait to see you.

If I ever settle on a color arrangement for these potions, that is.

I knew Thanksgiving existed, but I've never actually experienced it before! I'm not sorry to anybody that I beat at board games but it was very fun and very delicious overall! (◡‿◡✿)

I guess we have a pretty similar harvest feast kind of holiday (a lot earlier though, usually!) in Korea called Chuseok but I didn't have the chance last year (this year?) to go home and celebrate. It's still very much about home and family, though, and honoring our ancestors for the harvest and everything else!

Do we celebrate Christmas here too? :D

This place - this, even after several days of walking amongst the locals I find myself still not quite understanding how it works. I spoke with the person who was there when I arrived, I saw the strange...video as I have been told it's called but I still do not quite understand how all of this works and that does not set well with me at all. Adam informs me that I'm being paranoid and that I need to relax but how does one do that when finding them in this sort of situation?
