It was the end of October when I left home with Reggie, Fangs (I know, right? A vampire who calls himself Fangs. What?) and a few others. We were off to try and hunt down a relative of mine who killed my father and had been trying to kill me. It was a whole thing. It just feels weird that it's nearing the end of October again. I went through Halloween once a few months ago. It was terrible. I'm looking forward to Halloween here for a number of different reasons. It just still feels a little odd.

A reminder to everyone new that the Defense Department is always looking for new recruits. It's a paid job to patrol and handle any threats or danger that comes through the portals, and some that originate here.
