It was suggested that I first inquire as to if any others from my world are here. Do any of you by chance hail from Thedas?

I would also appreciate advice on where I might find housing that is less noisy than my current quarters, and where to find clothing that is not the leather armor I was brought here wearing. It is not the most comfortable for day-to-day tasks, and it is currently adorned with more spider entrails than I would prefer.

Hello, fellow outlanders, if you're looking for proper Halloween makeup and hair color that won't come off with surprise rain or tears (but will eventually wear off after a few hours, probably while you're sleeping), I am at your service. I'm giving discounted rates, and since I still haven't set up a shop for myself, I'm doing it all in the salon set-up I have in my apartment.

Of course, if anyone happens to know a great spot to do this that's not in my own apartment, I'm all ears.

This is all month of course, not just for Halloween, but particularly for Halloween-designated makeup.

GOOD NEWS! It wasn't too late to start classes at the university so at least I don't have to put that on hold while I'm here. They told me I needed to take a couple of language courses so I may or may not have signed up for Greek which was probably terrible of me but it will fun to learn the language from someone else's perspective, right??

Between that and the musical, I feel good about taking steps toward making the most of being dislocated. I've also been to the craft store and I have kits for watercoloring, cross stitching, scrapbooking, jewelry making, and cookie decorating, so here's to finding at least one new hobby I like!
