From behind Laudna, Gilmore cleared his throat delicately, just as a warning to her that someone was near. Realistically, he didn't have much of a reason to have found her--except that he'd noticed Laudna had left. Noticed her mention of living in Whitestone. Her rat fried (a bit unsettling when you first saw it, but after? charming!) with a very distinct name. He couldn't have pieced the entire story together--Gilmore was clever, however not that clever--but he did have a sort of sixth sense as to when adventurers needed a little bit of support. And regardless of the time difference and that he didn't truly know the Bells Hells, Gilmore felt like he did know them, in a way. They had the same sort of adventuring spirit that Vox Machina had and undoubtedly that the Mighty Nein had, the same sort of easy camaraderie with and fierce loyalty to each other. They were all very different personalities, but the similarities (especially in the form of 'this time we REALLY fucked up' stories) were resoundingly clear.
"If you'd like to be alone, I'm happy to leave," he offered, gently. "But if you'd like the company, I'm happy to give it."
