And no, Blackbeard on his own is unlikely to cause you any real harm, so long as you stay out of range of his canons. I rather think he's more likely to he afraid of you, dear. It seems he and Mr. Bonnet may know one another, and Mr. Bonnet was rather surprised to learn of the existence of dragons when I spoke to him.
