Most of our tourists in St. Petersburg were not American. Some, but we are more likely to hear German, French, or Finnish. (I learned some Finnish, because I have one grandmother from Finland.)
Russian is like that here, too. Vallo has more people who speak it than Rhode Island does, if you count people from worlds where it's not called Russian. There is one woman here, she speaks Ravkan, but if she had not told me it was called that, I would think she is just speaking less-known dialect of Russian. I like being able to relax my brain sometimes, speak own language.
