"Now I see why you agreed to meet me," Harry said with a glint of amusement in his eye. "You wanted me to magic all your stuff here," he teased, knowing Daisy had thought nothing of the sort. If he'd got his lab here, perhaps, but it had burned down along with his house a long time since. "I doubt things will just 'show up'"Harry said taking a swig of his beer.
"Fine, keep your Quake," he said with a chuckle, "but you'll always be Captain Richter to me. I want you to know this, for when you start on the Harry Potter stuff," Harry told her with a nod of understanding.
He frowned once more and thought about the dilemma. "In my world I just rented a space and stuck an ad in the paper," Harry told Daisy with a small shrug. "I don't see why we can't do the same here? I mean, it might be more difficult with the official folks, but the thing about box-tickers tends to be that they're more happy ignoring a problem than coming up with a solution." As far as Harry was concerned it was better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission. "I say we just do it," he said. "Chances are we'll get the usual stuff. Missing persons. Tracing lost objects and wotnot, but while we're doing the dirty work, we can keep an eye on the city," he said looking to Daisy for her opinion.
