The morning started off innocently enough. Tina Cohen-Chang and Bucky Barnes-Ulric met up for breakfast at a cafe and coffee shop known for their good drinks and decent-for-being-kind-of-a-hipster-place prices. At the end of the meal they stopped at the cash register to pay on their way out. The staff member handed them the receipt when BTS' Permission to Dance came over the radio. It started with Tina singing along with the first line, loud enough to hear, but mostly to herself. The cashier, not missing a beat, chimed in to sing harmony for the second line.
In this moment, Tina thought Screw it, it's been years.
Bucky and Tina started the dance, a upbeat combination of swing dance modified for pop music, which would also soon incorporate dance moves originally performed by BTS themselves in the official Music Video. By the last two lines of the first verse, a dozen others inside the care were on their feet as well.
At the start of the pre-chorus, Eli Grimsbane enters the cafe and is immediately swept up into the growing number of performers. Tina pulls him into a duet and dance combo, and they lead the crowed right out the door and onto the sidewalk. An unsuspecting Tally Craven, initially confused by the sudden appearance of people dancing and singing out the front door is pulled into the number by Bucky. All she wanted was a cup of coffee, but this could be fun, right?
Tina, Eli, Bucky, and Tally, joined by still growing numbers, spread out and take over the sidewalk surrounding the cafe, drawing attention from those passing by and people in neighboring stores. Wei Wuxian comes around the corner at the end of the pre-chorus on his way to work and finds himself swept up into the dance, despite not having a clue what's happening. Is this normal? Sometimes you just gotta go with it.
When the chorus drops, Tina spots Jake Pentecost and Kady Orloff-Diaz in the crowed, looking more than skeptical. Dance partners change and new ones are pulled from the crowed. Jake is pulled in by Tina at the same time that Kady is pulled in by another participant. Kady joins in with her insane vocals to help carry the rest of the chorus.
When the post-chorus hits, Eli and Kady take over vocals, while the crowed dances around them. Gretchen Cutler, Tommy Shepherd, Fen, and William Poindexter, weather they were watching all this time or new on the scene, are pulled into the crowed. Several people will swear they saw Gretchen roll her eyes so hard only the whites of her eyes were visible. Actually, of the four newest Outlanders to join, Fen is the only one to look happy to be there.
At the start of Verse 2 if you're close to Gretchen you might be able to hear her say 'Didn't we leave this behind in 2009 along with the goddamn Black Eyed Peas?' Or maybe you can't hear her, because at this point various musicians have joined the crowed that is now lining both sides of the street. They have picked up playing the song with their various instruments. Hey, where was the music coming from since they left the coffee shop? Who knows!
When the pre-chorus circles back, the Pedestrian Scramble switches to 'walk' and the flashmob spills out onto the intersection. 'Seriously, what the fuck?' was heard by some, it was probably Gretchen again. Maybe Kady. You may never know.
A free-style dance break takes over as the Refrain hits. Tina circles back to Bucky and they swing-dance their way through the crowed and around other participants, because this is obviously how you highlight the different talents of people who have joined the crowed. Like the elf breakdancing on the street, the troll who has brought out his saxophone, or the barber who's joined by this clients and they're just doing their best to stay on beat.
The Bridge hits, and here we go! That last Chorus is coming up! Did you just experience an unexplained outfit change that puts you in clothes that belong in a music video, but somehow still fit your personality and comfort level? Don't think about it too much, your normal clothes will come back when this is over.
The final Chorus and Post-Chorus are replicas of the BTS music video, with your starring cast members placed all around the front of the flashmob in the pedestrian scramble, which somehow has not changed back to Do Not Cross. Everyone is singing now, so don't worry if you're tone deaf. Chances are only the people right next to you will hear it. The moves are simple enough to follow, you got this!
The song ends, and for just a second or two everyone is still.
It's over now. What are you doing standing in the sramble? The light just switched! Drivers start to honk their horns and everyone calmly walks off the scramble. It's time to get on with their day.

This number will be noticed by Vallo itself, and cause a three day musical plot in game. Welcome to Tina's life, everyone.
The initial musical performance will become viral on multiple social media platforms, with a video hitting the Outlander network almost immediately thanks to Ezekiel Jones pulling footage from various areas are the city.
[Pre-Chorus: Tina & Eli]
When the nights get colder
And the rhythms got you falling behind
Just dream about that moment
When you look yourself right in the eye, eye, eye
Then you say
[Chorus: Tina & Kady]
I wanna dance
The music's got me going
Ain't nothing that can stop how we move, yeah
Let's break our plans
And live just like we're golden
And roll in like we're dancing fools
[Post-Chorus: Kady]
We don't need to worry
'Cause when we fall, we know how to land
Don't need to talk the talk, just walk the walk tonight
'Cause we don't need permission to dance
[Verse 2: Eli]
There's always something that's standing in the way
But if you don't let it faze ya
You'll know just how to break
Just keep the right vibe, yeah
'Cause there's no looking back
There ain't no one to prove
We don't got this on lock (Yeah)
[Pre-Chorus: Tina & Eli]
The wait is over
The time is now so let's do it right, mm (Yeah)
Yeah, we'll keep going
And stay up until we see the sunri-i-ise (Yeah)
And we'll say
[Chorus: Tina]
I wanna dance
The music's got me going
Ain't nothing that can stop how we move, yeah
Let's break our plans
And live just like we're golden
And roll in like we're dancing fools
[Post-Chorus: Tina]
We don't need to worry
'Cause when we fall, we know how to land
Don't need to talk the talk, just walk the walk tonight
'Cause we don't need permission to dance
[Refrain: Tina, Eli, Kady]
Da-na-na-na-na-na-na
Da-na-na-na-na-na-na
Da-na-na-na-na-na-na
No, we don't need permission to dance
Da-na-na-na-na-na-na (Hey)
Da-na-na-na-na-na-na
Da-na-na-na-na-na-na
[Bridge: Tina]
Well, let me show ya
That we can keep the fire alive, mm
'Cause it's not over
'Til it's over, say it one more time
Say
[Chorus: Everyone ]
I wanna dance
The music's got me going (Music's got me going)
Ain't nothing that can stop how we move, yeah (Hey, yeah)
Let's break our plans
And live just like we're golden (Ooh)
And roll in like we're dancing fools (Like we're dancing fools)
[Post-Chorus: Everyone]
We don't need to worry
'Cause when we fall, we know how to land (We know how to land)
Don't need to talk the talk, just walk the walk tonight (Ooh)
'Cause we don't need permission to dance
