Considering the main attendants at backyard tea parties were children, they probably wouldn't appreciate the clever designs of the apocalypse or something more industrial, manmade and sleek and more about form and function - childhood was all about whimsy, and innocence, or at least it should be. The whole Wonderland theme came into play outside, and Stephen didn't plan to change that - the adults seemed to enjoy it as well, because not everything had to be one-hundred percent serious or attached to perfect explanations all of the time (a lesson hard-learned for him as well, so Eadwulf was in good company).
Outside, high tea attendants could pretend they were at a royal function enjoying cucumber sandwiches with the Queen. Or at a table with their favored Prince or Princess - he sort of liked the escapism and he imagined others did too.
Inside, however, it was much more organized. Especially in the back Bubbling Laboratory, where the Brews occurred. Stephen aimed for routine in many aspects of his life. "Yep," he replied, and with a twist of his hand pulled forth a binder from the ether, also neatly organized and tabbed. "It's all here. Feel free to study. When would you like to start?"
